Co-speaker Patrick J. McGovern had begun the EDP Industry & Market Report a year prior in 1964; that publication would eventually morph into both Computer World and PC World, as well as spawning the "For Dummies" book series. McGovern achieved massive financial success; at time of death in 2014 his net worth was estimated by Forbes at in excess of five billion dollars.
