Big, beautiful book and jacket, clean and tight throughout. 350 pages with over 150 illustrations including photos, drawings and 13 color plates of Charlie's work. 1949 birthday gift inscription on blank page prior to title page is only marking in book. Jacket is in new mylar protector and is not price-clipped. It does have mild paper loss but lettering and illustration are not affected, only the black background. Red boards are clean and tight as new and gilt lettering to spine is perfect. Wonderful old biography that includes Charlie's cowboy days, his hilarious writing, and of course his fantastic art. Great old book.
