First edition of this scarce land promotion packet touting the advantages of building a vacation home at Shoreline Estates in 1967 in Clatsop County, which broke ground and became part of the Shoreline Sanitary Distric in 1969. Bucher (1918-2003) began as a journalist with the Oregon State Journal, heading their Vancouver office, and then formed Bucher Realty following World War II. Pollman, together with Palmquist (1911-1992) & Wright, were very successful and influential midwestern Mid-Century Modern architects throughout Michigan, and surrounding states through the 1950s. Their Detroit-based firm, Home Planners' Inc. was established in 1946 in Farmington Hills, MI, and continued publishing house plan books up to 1970's in and around Detroit, later being moved and resurrected in Tucson, Arizona with the company still issuing house plan books into the 21st Century.
