It includes an essay by Luis Cardoza y Aragon, biographical data and a catalogue of the 106 works illustrated. A corner of the back cover has a light, bend line. The top end of the text block spine is a little bumped, also lightly affecting the nearby corner of the front cover. The third blank page has a gift inscription "X - 1948." The inside margins of the title page, the signed plate and its tissue guard, a blank page, p. 7, and the reverse sides of these 5 margins each have a stain(s), 1/4 in. to 5/8 in. The DJ has tanned, especially on the spine panel. The back panel has three thinned spots with nearby chips, perhaps caused by an insect. The bottom edge of the front panel is a little frayed.
