This booklet is a facsimile of the famous English nursery rhyme first published in 1805. While most people only know the very first stanza about an empty cupboard, the original poem is a highly absurd, 14 stanzas satirical tale where a dog repeatedly plays dead, performs human chores, wears human clothes, and masters various musical instruments while having the poor woman running errands while the dog pulls increasingly bizarre stunts. A clean very presentable copy.
