Zudem ist das Buch nicht wie ein langweiliger Fachwälzer geschrieben, sondern mit interessanten Fallbeispielen durchsetzt, mit lustigen Cartoons bebildert und alles in allem total verständlich geschrieben. Wenn auch einige Fachbegriffe, die für eine Prüfung sicher wichtig sind, nicht fallen (vor allem statistische), so umschreibt Pervin die demzugrundeliegenden Phänomene einleuchtend.
