Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. 1st Edition. First edition limited to 1000 copies casebound in slipcases, but not one of the copies in a special deluxe case that includes a signed original colour print. A Fine, oversize and oblong, string bound hardcover (17 x 13.75 inches) in a near fine slip case. Tan boards with the title in Chinese characters stamped in the upper board. The unpaginated contents include a forward and feature a photographic interpretation of Taoist philosopher Chuang Tze's "Autumn Floods." Each image appears on the recto of a page and has a tissue guard containing grey Chinese character calligraphy. (An typeset English translation appears in red on the verso of the page that precedes each tissue.) Several tissues have an area of light rippling, but there is no evidence to suggest it is moisture related or was not present as manufactured. There are also a couple of small, slightly darker blotches on the brown rear paste-down. In all other respects an as new book. The tan paper covered slipcase has light soiling/dust-staining, plus a very slight dent and partial black scuff line across the bottom spine approx 5 inches form the open end.
