Slight bumping and a small crease to the top of the spine. Page edges are lightly browned with slight spotting on the top edges. Small brown stain to the frontispiece and title page. The previous owner - Peter Haining the author and editor - has made a few light pencil annotations but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Jacket has some chipping, several closed tears and quite a bit of creasing to the edges. It has also been reinforced to the reverse with brown paper at the top and bottom edges. Design by Dan Nevins. First printing. Large number of dated newspaper and magazine cuttings laid in at the front. Heavy item so there will be an additional postage charge for overseas orders.
