Her late husband served with the military government and later with the American Embassy. Evacuated from Seoul following the communist invasion, they returned to Seoul following the cease-fire and represented a voluntary agency engaged in aid and rehabilitation until 1964. She has authored other works pertaining to native life in Korea.
