This is the 175th Anniversary Edition brought up to date from the Sesquicentennial Edition written by Mrs. William Preston Drake, Judge Samuel M. Wilson, and Mrs. William Breckenridge Ardery, which was published in 1942. Coleman 2196. A very good history of Kentucky and Kentuckians. It is particularly interesting and useful because of its chronological format, and because it lists the names of the pioneers who were present during the defense of Boonesborough, Fort Harrod, Bryan's Station, and other early forts and stations.
