Program Notes by Jean Ramsey Clymer on pages 5-10. Bound-in between pages 6-7 is an unnumbered four page section promoting the Orchestra's 1946-1947 subscription season. A very good copy. Musical director Izler Solomon (1910-1987) led the Columbus Philharmonic Orchestra from its founding in 1941 until its disbandment in 1949. The Columbus Philharmonic's successor is the Columbus Symphony Orchestra which has operated since 1951.
