Der amerikanische Cartoonist, Künstler, Schriftsteller, Film-Designer und Regisseur hat seine weitläufigen und vor allem hochkarätigen Spuren in vielen Bereichen hinterlassen. Als freischaffender Illustrator malte der beispielsweise Umschläge für das Magazin »Famous Monsters of Filmland« und fertigte eigene Gemälde an. Ab Mitte der 1960er Jahre arbeitete er als freier Karikaturist bei vielen Zeitungen und Undergroundblättern. Und seine Zeichnungen waren damals schon so radikal, dass die bürgerliche Presse stets dankend abgelehnt hat. Zudem hat Cobb mit seinen Fähigkeiten in der Filmbranche bei Star Wars oder Alien mitgewirkt. Der Mann ist ein unglaubliches und vielseitiges Talent!
