Gresser / who contributed a great / deal to this effort. / With my most sincere / thanks. / Eugene Connett." A fine association copy -- according to "Nymphs volume I, The Mayflie…s, The Major Species" by Ernest G. These investigations included a collaborative effort with the distinguished Manhattan ophthamologist, Edward Bellamy Gresser. Their studies remain the most sophisticated evluation of the trout's eye. The work was performed in the Hackettstown trout hatchery on the little Musconetcong in northern New Jersey and at New York University" (p. 75). Illustrated by Ralph L. Boyer & Milton C. Weiler (illustratore). Signed by Author(s). Book.
