The history begins with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans and ends in the 20th century as well as looking to the future. Dorothy Cooke formed the very early Leicester and County Flower Lovers Guild. Pamela McNicol was chairman of NAFAS in 1986 and designed and directed the flowers in Westminster Abbey for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of York. A readable copy of the book which may include some defects such as highlighting and notes. Cover and pages may be creased and show discolouration.
