Nous avons plus particulièrement analysé la déformation au centre de la bielle lorsqu'elle…est fabriquée en matériaux plastiques. Les résultats obtenus en utilisant ce modèle ont été comparés à ceux déterminés expérimentalement sur trois types de matériaux plastiques et une bonne concordance a été obtenue. Ces résultats indiquent que la variation de la géométrie de la bielle affecte considérablement la déformation en son centre. Alors que l'augmentation de la longueur augmente cette déformation, l'augmentation de l'épaisseur la diminue, quelque soit la vitesse de sollicitation de cette bielle. Le module d'élasticité et la masse volumique du matériau de la bielle affectent à leur tour sa déformation en son centre. Dans le cadre de ce travail, nous avons défini un nouveau paramètre appelé module spécifique du matériau choisi, qui est égal au rapport de son module sur sa masse volumique. Nous avons remarqué que si ce paramètre augmente, la déformation au centre de la bielle diminue. Dans le cas contraire, cette dernière augmente.
