Plus a loose smaller sheet printed one side on the same quality paper.…Condition is very good, no damages to the boolket, there is some foxing on the pages. Comes still in it's original undecorated envelope. The envelope is heavy foxed and has some insect damage. --- The history of hymns in Hawaiian and their roots in Foreign and Hawaiian culture, presenting some examples. The history of Hymn books in Hawaiian, starting in 1823 is also presented, including an illustration of the first edition book(let) from 1823. The smaller loose sheet recounts the news, apparently well known among Hawaiians, about the origins of the hymn He Akua Hemolele.
