This story takes place in the northern provinces of Canada and was the basis for a silent movie in 1922 which was filmed in Banff National Park in Alberta. This is a later first edition by Cosmopolitan in near fine condition. The pages are clean and free of tears and folds. There is an inscription to a previous owner written in pencil on the fly leaf and the same name written in ink on the inside cover. The orange cloth cover is clean and with little signs of wear. The corners are sharp and the binding is tight. The tops of the pages are dusty and the spine is faded with age but the printing is still very dark.
