A near fine copy of the special limited edition produced to commemorate the Walter Traill Dennison centenary in 1994. It is copy number 33, signed by Howie Firth (who did the introduction) Tom Muir (the compiler), and Bryce Wilson (illustrator). The contents are in fine clean condition with very slight creasing at the top of the gutter. The binding has a bump to the top spine end and a tiny corner tip bump to the top corner of the back board. The wrap, which is in a removable protective covering, is complete and in near fine clean condition with light crinkling at the top spine end. 196pp 8vo. Signed by Illustrator(s).

There is some wear to the cloth, especially at the corners and edges, including a 4cm split at the front hinge. Internally, the hinges are a little tender, but holding. There are no markings or inscriptions. A generally sound, still decorative copy of this very scarce volume. Includes a Glossary of Orcadian dialect words.
