[]". - Eugen Diesel, der Sohn Rudolf Diesels, studierte auf Wunsch seines Vaters zunächst Maschinenbau, später vor allem Geologie, und wurde… 1915 in Berlin promoviert. Bis 1919 war er Assistent am Geologischen Institut der Univ. Berlin und ging dann nach Schweden, wo er als Vertreter vorwiegend im Automatengeschäft tätig war. 1924 ging er nach New York, kehrte 1925 nach Deutschland zurück und wandte sich der Schriftstellerei zu. Diesel veröffentlichte u.a. "Völkerschicksal und Technik" (1930) und eine Würdigung seines Vaters "Diesel. Der Mensch, das Werk, das Schicksal" (1937).
