Judd. 1882 1st edition; Orange Judd Company; New York. Complete set in two volumes. Each volume contains a frontispiece, full-page engraved plates, and in-text illustrations. Decorative floral end papers. "Frank Forester" was the pen name of Henry William Herbert, the British-born American novelist, poet, historian, illustrator, journalist and writer on sport. Nice interiors - both volumes have clean text pages that nearly appear unread with only some light foxing to the volume II frontispiece, title page, and tissue guard in between. Each volume has a name/date (1882) written in ink on the first 2 front end papers. Overall the set is in Very Good+ condition.
