Aggiungi al carrelloMy Sister's Song is a discography of music made by women, compiled and edited by the feminist collective Woman's Soul. The catalog covers releases from 18 record companies and uses the women's sex symbol (?) to mark records the editors believed were of special interest to feminists and to highlight record companies that are wome…n-owned and operated and/or deal exclusively in records by women. A correction slip is tipped in to the catalog noting that in making every effort to include all women musicians, they "gave a few folks the benefit of a doubt. The following people are not women: Carey Bell, Laurie Kay Cohen, Chris Hills, Bunny Sigler, Stephane Grappelli, & Idris Muhammad.". Offset, with tipped in correction slip. 8 1/4 x 10 3/4 in. with 1 1/4 x 8 1/4 in. slip. 21 pp. Second edition. Very good.
