Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Large 8vo hardcover set in mottled brown cloth boards with embossed fruit design. Full set of 12 volumes. We could find no other sets with this binding. Spines and boards are very good with one spine having a small tear dent near top. All volume have endpapers that are not split or marked. Sadly some volumes have water marks. Volume 7 is worst with marks to top third, volume 8 has some on the front edges in front, volume 9 has some on right edges and volume 10 has some through out. No pages are stuck still very usable not mouldy. No loose or missing pages. Looks good on the shelf. Weighs 28 lbs so extra shipping.

Hardcover. Twelve volume set. 1914 - 1915. Signed by Luther Burbank on a tipped-in dedication page in V1; presented to Charles Conover. Many tipped-in color photographs. The set has been nicely (if simply) rebound in green cloth; with gilt lettering on spine, reading "The Works of Luther Burbank". The cloth/bindings are very clean & bright, with bright gilt. The page edges are age-darkened, with a bit of age-toning to pages. A bit of smudging on the endpapers on a couple of volumes. The bottom front corner of the text blocks of V1 and V2, just touching the text on just a few pages. Else the pages are clean. The color photos are clean & bright.
