This book is a re-telling of stories from J.C. Harris's 'Brer Rabbit', based on stories he read to his children. He has also written some brand new stories. The book is staple-bound in the original card covers with titling and an illustration on the front cover. The book is in very good condition with some shelf wear and yellowing down the spine edge of the front and rear cover and bumping to the top corners. The contents are secure and clean with the following inscription on the title-page: "In grateful appreciation to the children of Scotland for kindness extended to me by your parents. W.F.C.". The preface has been signed "William F. Currotto" but it is difficult to tell if this is a genuine signature or has been printed. The top corners of the pages are lightly bumped. Signed by Author(s).
