Green faux leather covers with deeply embossed letters and a emblem of a winged hourglass ; endpapers have illustrations foreign scenes and the silhouettes of B-24s ; "The present conflict which rages abroad in the world must bring about many unforeseen changes in the lives of both American and world citizens. Today we gaze before us into the mist which veils the future and make vain attempts to pierce the engulfing haze.
