Contains, scale in English miles, compass pointing north and key to railways and stations that were open at the time and also lines that were under construction. Measures around 8" x 10 1/8" (203mm x 258mm). Plate no. 3. The map contains a central horizontal fold. There are signs of wear, with tearing at fold ends and a further tear at tail edge.
