A barge on the Grand Union Canal near Macclesfield Bridge (near the North Gate of the Park) and the imposing pillared centre portion of the Terrace designed by the architect John Nash (17521835). Pair of original antique steel line engravings on paper with later hand colouring originally produced for Payne's "Illustrated London, or a Series of Views in the British Metropolis and its Vicinity" (1846-1847). Supplied in a dark green bevel cut mount. 20 x 25.5 cm.
