The book measures 227mm tall x 147mm, and has 381 pages, 48 b/w photos, 2 EP maps, 1 chart, 7 appendices. The USA first edition has more photos than the first UK edition. The USA edition has a b/w photo frontispiece and 47 b/w photos on 15 double-sided leaves. The UK edition has a b/w photo frontispiece and 33 b/w photos on 15 double-sided leaves.
