Aggiungi al carrelloSoft cover. Condizione: Very Good. First Edition. June 1979. 4to. Wrappers with affixed wraparound title label. 66pp. Named after the Blue Room poetry workshop in Cambridge, which preceded the Cambridge Poetry Society. The chronology and editorial here describe the acrimonious background of the editorship, with Tabor having been 'under pressure to include poems from members of the Cambridge Poetry Society, particularly the committee'. Like Tabor, Fox (appointed co-editor in 1979) was 'happy to invite submissions of work from people who had nothing to do with the Society', although no secret is made of their differing approaches: 'while "one" has a clear concept of a magazine which promotes experimental work, the "other" has looked for authors to promote the magazine'. This was the final issue, unsurprisingly. Contributors include Allen Fisher, Tom Raworth, Paul Buck, Ulli McCarthy, P.C. Fencott, Lawrence Upton, E.E. Vonna-Michell, Edwin Morgan, Carlyle Reedy, Glenda George, Mark Chinca, Richard Hammersley, Alaric Sumner, and Fox. A little soiling to upper wrapper, primarily offset rust marks towards the spine, but Very Good overall.
