Prima edizione Copia autografata
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Scarce hardcover issue of this legendary book on five New York architects who were leaders at the time in new stylistic developments. This copy signed by Richard Meier, one of the five, to Arnold Newman, the legendary photographer. Inscribed warmly by Meier "to my friend Arnold Newman, a master in his craft, with admiration and affection," and dated 1976" alongside the signature. Attractive overall copy, scarce in hardcover and here with the DJ as well. Binding solid, sturdy, tight, and square. Besides the inscription on the front free endpaper no marks to interior which is generally bright and clean, though a slight bit toned around the edges of some pages.Page block occasionaly a bit wavy at top, though no signes of moisture. Otherwise no damage to speak of inside except a vertical crease to the front free endpaper. Dustjacket is generally bright and clean with some light rubbing, scuffing, and dustsoiling and with two small closed tears on the rear panel surrounded by a slight bit of creasing. A couple of teeny nicks / punctures, nothing egregious. Lightly worn at the edges, but overall both the book and DJ are attractive and well kept. Signed by Author(s).
