No Binding. Condizione: Near Fine. Here we have 2 pamphlets published to be distributed to the residents of Franconia & Bethlehem, NH prior to the meetings in 1974. One on June 6th and the other on December 5th. The residents were asked to approve both the building of a cooperative school to serve both towns and the bond to pay for it (1.6 million). The new school was to be called 'Profile' in honor of The Old Man of the Mountain in Franconia Notch. A tidy sum for those towns back then when the total budget for the Franconia school district was $330,848 for 1974. (5th Annual Report LRSD, December 31, 1974). I was in Bethlehem school then, 8th grade but instead of going to the new school in 1976 I was already enrolled in WMRHS in Whitefield and continued there. My younger brother attended Profile the first year it opened, 1976. Set of 2 booklets, corners damaged.
