Paper-covered boards with a lettered and decorated title plate to the upper board. The boards a little marked, rubbed and soiled, and with a tape repair to the backstrip. Some fox-spotting throughout, but all of the tipped-in illustrations are entirely spared (although there is spotting to the leaves upon which they are mounted). Some creasing to several of the tissue protectors, and the binding a little tender at one gathering. This copy from the library of artist Donald McIntyre (1923-2009) with his ownership inkstamp to the base of the title page (McIntyre was born in Leeds but is closely associated with North Wales, where he lived and works for some 45 years). A good copy of the sixth issue of this quite long-running series of artist monographs.
