Mild foxing to top edge with lighter foxing to fore-edge and bottom edge; foxing to half-title and to rear flyleaf with a few scattered spots to interior leaves. Binding remains fairly crisp. A very good+ copy in a near fine dust jacket. Original owner's packing slip from Museum of Modern Art laid-in at front endpapers. Features 34 b/w plates (including frontispiece) by New Orleans' Storyville portraitist Ernest J. Bellocq which are reproduced from prints made by Lee Friedlander. Also with short Preface by Lee Friedlander and brief essay by editor John Szarkowski who served as Director of Photography at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
