The book has the stiching of the binding showing through at the hinges where the stitching has torn minor holes in the pages, however it does not effect the readabilty or intergrity of the book, the binding remains right. It also has minor shelfwear to the edges and corners of the covers including gently bumped corners, a slightly shffited spine, separation of the binding from the spine plate, light toning to the interior of the covers, and an overall gentle aging to the pages, otherwise the book is in good condition with unmarked pages, a tight binding, and a strong, clean cover. The dustjacket has shelfwear to the edges and corners of the jacket resulting in a significant amount of chipping and tearing, a tear approx 1 1/4 inchs long at the top edge of the rear flap fold, a piece approx. 1 1/2 by 1 inches missing from the top of the spine, uneven fading to the spine, mild scuffing to the covers that has resulted in light color loss, toning to the back cover, the bottom corner cut from the front flap, and light smudging, otherwise the dustjacket is in fair condition, intact and bright, and is now in an archival protective mylar.
