Varied toning and light foxing to edges. Dark gray front and rear endpapers and flyleaves; ink ownership inscription at top of front paste…down with scarce circa 1950s or 1960s gold bindery ticket "Dixie Bookbinding Co. 111 S. President St. Jackson, Miss." at bottom right corner. All issues have vertical lengthwise creases at centers as if they were all folded prior to being bound. First issue for March 1940 is the only one which retains its original unpaged title leaf as those for the other eleven issues are all lacking and presumably removed when being bound. Collates as follows = NUMBER 1-MARCH 1940: pages [2], 1-28. NUMBER 2-APRIL 1940: pages 29-48. NUMBER 3-MAY 1940: pages 49-64. NUMBER 4-JUNE 1940: pages 65-88. NUMBER 5-JULY 1940: pages 89-104. NUMBER 6-AUGUST 1940: pages 105-120. NUMBER 7-SEPTEMBER 1940: pages 121-140. NUMBER 8-OCTOBER 1940: pages 141-160. NUMBER 9-NOVEMBER 1940: pages 161-182, [2]. NUMBER 10-DECEMBER 1940: pages 183-202. NUMBER 11-JANUARY 1941: pages 203-226. NUMBER 12-FEBRUARY 1941: pages 227-246.
