Front and rear cover contains the name stamp of F. C. Schrader. Frank Charles Schrader worked with the US Geological Survey was a well-known and respected American geologist, mineralogist, entomologist, and author. He was known throughout the west as the prospector's friend and was also one of the first federal geologists to explore Alaska. Exterior shows some spotting and staining but shows only minor wear. The reason for the low condition grade is because there are dampstains present on a good portion of the interior pages, otherwise book would grade as a VG to VG plus. Paper is toned due to age and there are no issues other than the dampstains. Book is still very usable and all foldout maps and charts are present and in good shape. The brown envelope in the rear of the book contains nine large foldout maps and charts which are also in excellent condition. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings present.…
