A publication revealing work by Gerrit Noordzij. Geen Bitter found a set of eighteen printing plates containing a brief writing lesson about writing with the broad nib and other writing tools. This course has never been published before, until now. The prints are accompanied with texts and images of five former students of Noordzij: Albert-Jan Pool, Frank E. Blokland, Aad van Dommelen, Huug Schipper and Petr van Blokland. They all wrote about the course and Gerrit Noordzij himself, and contributed old sketches and work from their student days. The work shows the contents of the writing lesson in practice.
