Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No date, guessing 1853, but might be a bit older. Oddly rebound in white vellum with marbled boards. Back cover of volume one has some serious scuffing where velluem meets boards, sort of the same on front, title written in red ink by hand on spine, pages very clean though two pages have library stamps. Volume two has 1.5 inch closed tears along both top spine gutters, small divot from top of front, modest wear and bumping to corners, half title page is torn and taped. Definitely a solid copy that is still somewhat presentable in spite of the Frankenstein-like binding job. Photos on request.
