The method relies on the use of boundary integrals and provides approximate solutions. Besides test problems, the cases of the circular and elliptical boundaries are considered. The boundary singularity of the solution is put in evidence. It is hoped that the material contained in this book will benefit to researchers involved in research work in the fields of plane linear elasticity with mixed boundary conditions and partial differential equations relating to the biharmonic equation.
