Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. Mars, W. T. (Illustrator) (illustratore). Ex-Library. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This hardcover novel for young people about slaves and black soldiers during the civil war is in good condition. The book was a Morton Minnesota public library book and has a cleary mylar dustjacket cover, a pocket inside the front cover and several stamps. The mylar and dustjacket are in good condition. The light blue cloth hardcovers have been well protected and look great. The spine is tight. The pages are white with a little edgewear and no marks besides the library stuff. The illustrations are great. 159 pages plus author's info. CHEAP SHIPPING MEDIA MAIL!

Ex-library copy, DJ beneath library plastic shows Union black troops and a huge dog on front and spine, 159 browned heavy pages plus author's note. Based on diary of Col. Thomas Wentworth Higginson, commander of the First South Carolina Volunteers, a black unit of Union soldiers. (Seen in the film "Glory.") Very Good, considering it is ex-library.
