Condition: Light fading/staining to the cloth at the bottom-right quadrant and top-left corner of the front cover, and at the bottom-left corner of the back cover. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Consistent mild foxing to the pages (though a bit heavier on the end papers). There are light stains that appear at the lower-inner and lower-outer page corners starting at the beginning of the book.the lower-outer corner stain disappears at page 3; the lower-inner corner stain disappears around page 62. Small label affixed to the front pastedown, "Alta California Bookstore / From the Library of Ed Grabhorn at the Grabhorn Press." Page 25 has a 1" tear at the outer edge. Label of American food historian "Jan Longone" affixed to rear pastedown. Overall the book is in Good condition.
