A portion of it was exhibited at the Orangerie of the Louvre during the summer of 1957 where it received tremendous acclaim. The Cincinnati exhibition of the Lehman Collection inclludes all of the works shown in LParis, as well as fragile panel paintings which could not be entrusted to ocean travel and other magnificent works." The Collection consists primarily of paintings, watercolors and drawings; but the decorative arts are well represented. Book condition: Book giver has written a message in red ink in French on the front fly; Front cover is "canted" over the rear cover--projecting circa 1/4 inch past a vertical line from the leading edge of the rear cover. Dj has four circa 3/4 in. edge tears, and about 1/4 inch edge loss at the dj spine base. In addition, we have a Lehman Collection flyer, printed on both sides, and a Museum catalogue given out at the entry, containing a list of all 558 exhibits, and a short description of each, 16 pages, 4 illus., VG 9 in. high; The flyer is VG, 8-1/2 x 14 inchesl, has 5 illus., and has been folded neatly in half, then in half again. I offer three items for$20.00, or book alone for $15.00.
