Eine Geschichte in zwei identischen Texten von Jacob Teutschmann jun. über den Tod seiner beiden Eltern: Jacob Teutschmann Senior und Maria Teutschmann. Mit der Hand geschrieben in zwei frommen Gebetbüchern, die wahrscheinlich für Jakob und seine Geschwister bestimmt. Vermutlich wurde das Haarkreuz (dunkelbraun und silbergrau) aus Haarsträhnen der beiden Verstorbenen gefertigt. Der Text ist für mich, in Altdeutsch unerfahren, schwer zu lesen. Auf die genaue Identität und Wohnort der Familie Teutschmann gibt es wohl Hinweise im Text. Doch alles deutet auf einen Ursprung in der Oststeiermark, dem heutigen Grenzgebiet zwischen Graz und Pettau (heute Ptuj) zwischen Österreich und Slowenien, hin.
