Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. BOOK DESCRIPTION: 8vo, 692 pgs, illustrated. Original decorated blue cloth. CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Slight wear to edges and minor fading, else VG. Interior is clean and tight. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION; Prepared for the High School student just before the outbreak of WW II. The authors state: "it seems that a knowledge of airplanes is essential to the survival of civilization." Interestingly, at least to me, the co-author George H. Tweney went on to be a book collector and wrote an outstanding annotated bibliography of important titles related to the Pacific Northwest. (The Washington 89).
