The color on the distinctive fish-scale boards is bright. spine ends lightly crushed, rubbed; corners are bumped and rubbed through to inner boards at tips. The spine is slightly slanted, binding firm. The blue-grey dust jacket is faded and heavily sunned on spine and at upper edge. There are several short tears and light wear at the edges. The title is lettered in gilt on the front panel, faded, and is decorated with a bookmark sized pastedown of a leaping bass, a bit scuffed at the edges. There is no lettering on the spine, possibly a paper title matching the one on the book spine has been lost. An attractive copy.
