Note that this is the covers only; the two-sided page with the 3 and 4 is missing but can be downloaded from several sites. 'Handsome' Noble Sissle (1889-1975) was the American jazz lyricist, composer, singer, playwright and band leader who was Eubie Blake's writing partner. He is also known for discovering, and first recording, Lena Horne, and for founding the Negro Actors Guild. His song Viper Mad was in Woody Allen's film Sweet and Lowdown. Harry Revel (1905-1958) was a British-American composer, mostly for theatre. He was Mack Gordon's writing partner. He was nominated for an Academy Award in 1942 for "There's a Breeze on Lake Louise", from The Mayor of 44th Street, and again in 1945 for "Remember Me to Carolina", from Minstrel Man. Westward Bound was first recorded by The Four Harmony Kings, whose photo is on the cover. This piece is in mint condition, with minor scuffing to the back. It is in its original music store wrapper.
