This is Japanese's tale, similar to the story of Odysseus. The setting is during the reign of a Japanese emperor and is illustrated in classic Japanese images but with realistic modern flavor. Illustrated glossy boards are clean and bright. Very light shelf wear along edges and corners. Binding is tight. DJ with same picture as boards is bright, colorful. White background of DJ shows light rubbing and light soiling. DJ is NOT price-clipped and now in a DJ mylar jacket. Interior pages clean and bright - no tears, creases or writing . This is NOT an ex-lib nor a remainder. Rare to find a children's book that is 34+ years old in such excellent condition. Note: We have a closed shop - so our books are not often handled by public.
