William Howard Taft stayed, and dined, at the club during his 1909 visit to the Twin Cities. Then-Colonel Theodore Rooseve visited the club in 1901, just before becoming president. Carroll D. Wright, the US Commissioner of Labor, presented comments on the Coal Strike of 1902 at the club.

No Binding. Condizione: Good. Sized 10.5 x 12 inches, black and white, glossy, generally clean and bright. These appear to be quality modern copies, with a few showing what would have been foxing at margins, and one with minor damp-stain, not on this copy, but on the originals. J. Henry Doerr, 1847 - 1906, had a photography studio at 12th and Market Streets, Louisville. Originals were circa 1890's.
