Softcover. Condizione: Fair. No Dust Jacket. Softcover. No publication date, but circa 1945? A short history of the 77th from training, through North Africa and then Italy. Also begins with a brief 4-page pre-history, covering World War 1 and peacetime between the wars for the 77th. Printed in Italy. There is a long inked inscri…ption on the first blank by a member of the regiment. It begins with: "The book was written by some jerk in an office at HQ." , and states in effect that he will try to add some corrections. There are inked annotations then added in the margins scattered here-and-there. The frontis is a B&W photo of the CO (to whom the book is dedicated). There are several full-page B&W drawings/cartoons. The covers are quite stained, and with a bit of edgewear. There is a 1/2" chip at the bottom edge of the rear cover. The pages are age-toned, with some foxing. An interesting copy of a fairly scarce WW2 history. ; B&W Illustrations; 26B; 7" x 5-3/8"; 75 pages. Illustrated by William N. Starck & Steve E. Rivera (illustratore).
