Condizione: Good. 1894. No Edition Remarks. 303 pages. No dust jacket. Decorative blue cloth with gilt lettering. Prize plate to front pastedown. Minor foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Some very slight looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

Pictorial Boards. Condizione: Good ++. Red boards with black and gilt design. The front end paper is missing and the the fold out frontespiece has been reattached to the body of the book using acid free tape. There is a pencil ownership inscription on the front end paper; a small stain at the bottom right hand corner of the front cover and another at the back; the tail of the spine strip has faded and in patches it is beginning to unravel, the head is damaged and the boards' edges are bumped. Internally the book is in excellent condition and the binding solid. The book is intended for children.
