Main title page poor as mostly detached with edge wear, but readable (see scan). Maps all good; Europe by Philippi Chetwind dated 1666 in good condition, crease tear, minimal edge wear. . Map of Africa/part of Arabia by Philippi Chetwind dated 1666 in fair/good condition, 2 crease tear, edge wear. . Map of America by Anna Seile dated 1663 in fair/good condition, crease tear, edge wear with a few minor nicks, all maps with some minimal (corner) folding. Pagination is poor with a few page numbers wrong and a few pages of Asia miss-bound about 7 pages too early. Full title page published by P C T. Passenger. B Tooke, and T Sawbridge., Title page Book I published by T Passenger, B Took, and T Sawbridge., Title page Book II published by John Richardson, Book IIII, part 1 by Tho. A fascinating book of the state of geographic knowledge at this time, including history of the known world, and with the 1663 map of America, published by Anna Seile wife of Henry Seile with various errors inc. the earliest map to show California as an Island.
